Monterey
County Elections is recruiting Election Officials. For this
purpose we have 3 great programs:
An
ongoing recruitment program for individuals who are interested
in working on Election Day. A great way to serve your community
and make a few extra dollars! If you are interested please
read the requirements and submit your application
online.
An
Election Official recruitment program by the Monterey Elections
Department specially designed for Service Organization wanting
to raise funds while providing a great service to their
community. For more information please contact the Precinct Services Coordinator at: (831) 796-1499
Legislation
in California now allows eligible students to be appointed
to work as Election Officials. As Election Officials, students
will participate in the operation of a poll site on Election
Day. For students to be eligible, teachers will nominate
qualified students to serve as Election Officials for each
election. Teachers can download more information and the
